LESSON CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICIES
Because we pride ourselves on exceptional service and outstanding value, when you make a reservation, we hold a place just for you. In addition, we keep our student to instructor ratio low. In order to maintain our high standards, please understand that we must adhere to the following cancellation policies.

Full payment is required to reserve your place in any lesson.

Full Refund: We reserve the right to change any itinerary to match existing conditions. If we must cancel due to unsafe or unsuitable weather or sea conditions, we will give you credit towards another scheduled lesson. If we cancel for any reason other than weather, you will have your choice of credit, or a full refund. We are not responsible for non-refundable hotel or transportation costs.

Refund: If you cancel more than 7 days before your class, you will receive a refund or credit (your choice), less a $10/person service charge.

No Refund: No refund or credit will be given if you cancel less than 7 days before your class or if you fail to attend any part of it. You may substitute another paddler provided they meet any skill or experience requirements.

Sales Policies

Liability Release:
Outdoor activities can be very fun, but also potentially dangerous. We encourage you to venture outside and enjoy yourself, but please do so in a responsible and safe manner. The activities Paddling New York, Inc. (DBA) Braddock Bay Paddlesports focus on may pose a significant risk to your well-being, and could result in serious injury or death. Paddling New York, Inc. does not assume any responsibility for actions resulting from the purchase of any products on its site. Through your purchase, you are stating that you understand the risks posed and assume responsibility for your own actions.

Shipping and Handling Guidelines:

• Braddock Bay Paddlesports uses UPS Standard shipping for most of its shipments. FedEx and US Postal Mail are available by special request (additional fees may apply).
• Braddock Bay Paddlesports will ship within the United States and Canada, international shipments are available by special request (additional fees may apply).
• Shipment will occur on most standard items within 4 - 7 days. Non-standard items such as canoes, kayaks and other oversize items may take longer.
• Braddock Bay Paddlesports reuses and recycles cardboard boxes and other shipping supplies.

Canoe, Kayak & Other Oversize Shipping:

• Shipping on oversize items is available within the United States at exact freight cost.
• Braddock Bay Paddlesports can ship oversize via FedEx Freight, Central Transport, Overnite Transport and other less-than-truckload freight carriers.
• Most lightweight composite canoes and kayaks cannot be freight shipped.
• Freight shipping is available for plastic canoes and kayaks to your residence or to a freight terminal at reduced cost.
• To receive a quote on freight shipping call: (585) 392-2628 or e-mail us. Be sure to include your zip code for an accurate quote.
• Upon delivery and before signing for your canoe or kayak, unwrap it immediately to inspect for damage, once you have signed for the shipment, Braddock Bay Paddlesports nor its shipping company are responsible for any damage incurred! i.e. - The boat is now yours.

Product Returns & Exchanges:
Braddock Bay Paddlesports happily accepts product returns or exchanges within 30 days of the date of purchase for regularly priced products.

We do not accept returns or exchanges on the following items:
• Sale
• Close-out
• Used or Demo products
• Canoes
• Kayaks

The returned or exchanged product must be unused and returned in the original manufacturer packaging with the original product hang tags attached. All returns (but not exchanges) are subject to a 15% restocking fee, shipping and return shipping is not refundable. For your protection, we recommend you insure your return/exchange package when sent to Braddock Bay Paddlesports. All product returned or exchanged will be inspected upon its arrival at Braddock Bay Paddlesports. Your original form of payment will be credited for the appropriate amount following a satisfactory inspection. Paddling New York, Inc reserves the right to change its refund and return polices at any time.

Return and Exchange:
Our product return and exchange process is very easy. Simply fill out the back of the invoice you received with your order and send it, plus the items you wish returned or exchanged, to us at the address provided. Once we receive the merchandise, we will send out the new items, credit the original card you charged your order on, and/or partially credit/charge your original card, as applicable.

Special Considerations:
Shipping Damage. If you receive merchandise that is damaged during shipping, please contact us immediately.

Fulfillment Errors
If we make an error in fulfilling your order, we will pay for the shipping to return that product and immediately ship you the correct product.

Our Guarantee:
We want you to be satisfied with the products and service you receive from Braddock Bay Paddlesports. If the product you purchase from us does not meet your expectations, you are welcome to return it or exchange it via our returns and exchange policy. For more on that policy, please see our policies page. If you are not satisfied with the service you receive from us, please e-mail our customer service department immediately and we'll remedy the situation.
